counseling supervision in Georgia

about me:

I love to teach and help others grow, it’s why I became a therapist. Even more so, I want to train up ethical, competent therapists in our industry. We have such a delicate job in which we hold people’s lives in our hands. We need to be the best therapist for each client as we can be!

experience in the field:

I am an individual and couples therapist in the Marietta area and I own a practice, The Attached Counseling Collective (theattachedcounselingcollective.com).

Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University
2+ years experience at Ridgeview Institute
5+ years as an adjunct teacher at Point Unversity

areas of focus:

Emotionally focused therapy for couples and individuals, trauma, EMDR, anxiety, betrayal trauma, ministry and missionaries, premarital counseling and spiritual issues. The foundation of my work is attachment based and I have a high emphasis on helping heal attachment trauma and relationships.

my style:

I am collaborative in nature but direct. I am passionate about ethics and training.

*While I am not an AAMFT approved supervisor, I do come from a systems perspective and can work with supervisees who have already had their required 100 hours of AAMFT supervision. I will, however, be starting my process for AAMFT supervisor soon!

I am passionate about training excellent therapists!
